THIS IS A SMART IDEA!! YOU COULD ALSO USE A "FAUX" MARBLE OR WOOD PRINTED PAPER TO CREATE A CHESSBOARD. BEATS THE TIME, COST AND LABOR INVOLVED IN USING THE REAL MATERIALS- WHILE CREATING THE SAME EFFECT. IF DONE RIGHT NO ONE WILL KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! A+ IDEA!
